Corporate Travel Management (ASX:CTD) has launched two new products designed to provide mobile-based assistance and crisis management services to customers.
The company has unveiled assist-u, which provides travel assistance including itinerary updates, destination services and advice.
The second product is u-track, which allows companies to use mapping technology to track international travellers by region, country, event or other itinerary information.
u-track also allows businesses to communicate with travellers via SMS and track responses. The two products form part of a single bundled suite.
Corporate Travel Management said the products are designed to address duty of care obligations and provide a crisis management tool.
“Our u-track technology now enables clients to not only see where there travellers are with the push of a button, but to easily communicate with those caught in a crisis region,” CTM chief executive, Jamie Pherous, said.
Corporate Travel Management also provides other SMS-based travel management products and services.
The company completed an IPO in December 2010, and has offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, the Gold Coast and Auckland.
CTD shares fell 2.44 per cent in Friday's trading to $2.000.
