Peregrine Systems has appointed Dr Lee Loncasty as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
With more than 17 years experience in the IT industry, Loncasty was most recently country manager with Vignette Corporation, and before that was Vignette's director of partner channel for Asia Pacific. She has also worked for Hewlett-Packard (HP), holding a number of senior management positions including general manager of HP's healthcare solutions group, and manager of HP consulting, Australasia.
According to Dominic O'Riley, vice president, Asia Pacific, Peregrine Systems, one of Dr Loncasty's immediate roles will be to ensure the successful integration of Remedy staff and business into Peregrine.
Dr Loncasty holds a Bachelor of Physics from Manchester University, Masters in Computer Science from Queens University and a PhD in Engineering Science, (Robotics) from Oxford University and also holds patents awarded in the UK and the US for graphical user interface design.
