Mobile social networking platform developer, MOKO.mobi (ASX:MKB), has announced its third deal with a Malaysian operator.
The company has signed a deal with Celcom Axiata, Malaysia's largest mobile operator with around 11 million subscribers. It also has the widest 3G coverage map in the country.
MOKO.mobi said the latest Malaysian deal meant its platform is now available to around 98 per cent of the nation's total mobile customer base.
MOKO.mobi chief executive, Ian Rodwell, said the deal had the potential to be “very lucrative” once it begins generating revenue in the September quarter.
He said the company now has agreements with 24 mobile operators worldwide.
The company last month signed a deal with Telstra, which brought the platform's reach in Australia up to 90 per cent of the mobile customer base.
MBA shares stayed flat on Friday at $0.030.
