Patch: Microsoft updates "Unchecked buffer in SNMP"

Patches are now available for Windows 98 and 98SE that fix a previously announced vulnerability in Microsoft's SNMP implementation. The patch fixes a flaw that could be exploited by an attacker by sending a malformed SNMP request to the affected machine. This request could cause a denial-of-service attack and in some cases allow for the execution of arbitrary code. For more, go to
