ISP iiNet (ASX:IIN) has launched what it says is its biggest ever marketing campaign, in an attempt to improve brand awareness.
While the company claims to be the second largest DSL service provider in Australia, it said its market research had shown that its size remains relatively unknown among consumers.
iiNet general manager for retail, Matthew Dunstan, said the multi-format campaign was designed for maximum impact.
It will span press, radio, outdoor and online advertising developed by brand communications company Meerkats.
iiNet managing director, Michael Malone, on Wednesday claimed that the same market research had shown that it is one of the few fixed broadband providers still managing to organically grow its customer base.
He asserted that this puts the ISP in the position to be one of the only providers to significantly benefit from the NBN.
IIN shares grew 1.49 per cent to $2.730 during Friday's trading.
