Structural receives evaluation order for F-15s

Structural integrity testing technology developer Structural Monitoring Systems (ASX:SMN) has announced it has received an order for a technology evaluation for the F-15 fighter plane.

Creators McDonald-Douglas and Boeing have purchased instrumentation and sensors in an initial evaluation ordered, Structural said. It is the company's first order for the F-15 platform.

SMN shares on Tuesday soared 87.5 per cent to $0.015.

Motopia appoints new director

Mobile advertising company Motopia (ASX:MOT) has appointed Rob Hoath as its newest director.

Hoath was formerly co-founder and managing director of mobile marketing platform developer mConnect, which Motopia (then known as MedicVision) acquiredl in December after arranging the deal in October.

He has been involved in the mobile phone industry for over 19 years. MOT shares on Tuesday declined 1.01 per cent to $0.098.
