In brief: Noggin IT appoints new project manager

Following the sign on of six government organisations to use the software

Noggin IT has appointed Geoff Percival as its new project manager for Organise, Communicate, Act, the company’s online incident management software.

He brings to the role experience in emergency management at both state and local government levels with prior positions at Emergency Management NSW, Sydney CBD Emergency Notification Service. He also developed standing operating procedures for the NSW State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC).

“Geoff has worked on the NSW State Incident Management team during many major emergencies and understands the importance of rapid and reliable communications during high pressure situations,” Noggin managing director, James Boddam-Whetham, said in a statement.

As reported by <i>Computerworld Australia</i>, the Australian company recently had a win with six government organisations signing up to use its software, including South-East Queensland Water Grid, Queensland Health and Ambulance Victoria. Approximately 80 per cent of its business comes from the public sector.
