ASX-listed software company, Datasquirt (ASX:DSQ), has announced it will attempt to break into the UK reseller market by extending its CONTACT communication platform for contact centres.
In a statement to the ASX, the company said it will be providing a demonstration of its new channel-specific social media management CONTACT Social service on 14 September to 15 UK reseller companies.
Datasquirt chief executive, Aaron Ridgeway, said the rapid growth of social media use by soci9ety has left large organisations “scrambling” to catch up.
“Many corporates are using social media but it’s putting new pressures on their contact centres,” Ridgway said in an ASX statement.
According to Ridgway, it is basic functions like routing, message handling and quality control that are missing, which damages service levels and potentially puts brands at risk.
Last month, the company launched a website for CONTACT incorporating user feedback and a presentation of the platform’s components, SMS, email, eFax and web chat.
