Gillard announces Labor's plan to link healthcare in Australia with the NBN raises the question

This week, Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, announced the ALP’s plan to link the future health of Australians with the National Broadband Network (NBN) by using its speed and connectivity to facilitate online consultations between patients and doctors via videoconferencing.

The question remains, whether or not this justifies the $43 billion cost of the NBN?
