Vulnerability: Microsoft Internet Explorer Gopher Client

BugTraq has warned Microsoft's Internet Explorer gopher client is vulnerable to a buffer overflow condition, which could allow an attacker to crash a web user's browser or execute supplied code via a hyperlink in malicious webpage or HTML e-mail.

This vulnerability is reported to exist in versions 5.5 and 6.0 of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
