Samsung mobile owners will continue to be able to see their Yahoo!7 content on their devices after the parties signed an extension to their two-year agreement.
The partnership will make Yahoo!7 content available on Samsung mobile devices and available on both Samsung bada (Samsung’s mobile platform) and Android (Google’s mobile platform).
Senior vice president for Yahoo! Mobile, David Ko, said Yahoo! is “thrilled” to continue its relationship with Samsung.
“By making our most popular Yahoo! services available on Samsung mobile devices around the world, we’re providing consumers with personally relevant mobile internet experiences that make it easy for them to stay connected to what's important to them and explore the full potential of their device,” Ko said in a statement.
Yahoo!7 services will include Mail, Messenger, Front Page, Search, Flickr, News, Contacts, Calendar and Weather.
Yahoo! and Samsung have been in partnership since 2007.
