MyNetFone (ASX:MNF) has reported major growth across its business for the half year ended 31 December 2009, driven by increasing monthly profit and organic growth across its entire voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and broadband product range.
The VoIP & IP service provider recorded a net profit after tax (NPAT) of $333,460 - up 3760 per cent year on year, and gross revenue of $5.76 million — up 27 per cent year on year.
In an ASX statement the company said it had experienced growth in the average revenue per user of its business customers and had seen demand increase for its Virtual PBX and SIP Trunk services.
The company said it had also benefited from growth via the consumer sector with the trend of households swapping from traditional PSTN telephone lines to Naked ADSL bundled broadband & VoIP services.
Growth was also being experienced in its SMS and multi-party audio conference products.
MyNetFone announced earlier this month that it had been included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific program.
