Senatas issues profit guidance

Full year profit before tax for the year to 30 June 2010 expected to be in line with last years’ full year result

Senetas (ASX:SEN) has issued a profit guidance announcing that it expects its profit before tax to for the half year to 31 December 2009 to be $400,000-$500,000.

The company, which develops and supplies high speed network encryption hardware, said it expected its full year profit before tax for the year to 30 June 2010 to be in line with last years’ full year result.

The company announced it was expanding into Eastern Europe, via a reseller agreement with fibber optics security company FiSEC, in December 2009.

In November it announced it had attained certification for its then latest encryptor range to comply with Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 augmented with ALC_FLR.2 (EAL4+), a requirement for selling to Australian Government departments and agencies.
