IBM opens new Czech tech center

IBM World Trade Corporation, a division of IBM, is building a new center for information technology in Brno, Moravia, in the Czech Republic, CzechInvest, the Ministry of Industry and Trade's agency for foreign investment, has announced.

IBM World Trade Corporation is prepared to invest 360 million crowns (US$ 8.8 million) in its new center during the next five years. During this period the investment will bring jobs for at least 200 Czech IT experts, mainly computer operators and specialists in software and data storage systems.
