AgentArts bankrolls TiNSHED

Melbourne and San Francisco-based Internet company AgentArts has raised A$1.25 million in funding from an 'angel' VC firm for high tech media and telecommunications start-up TiNSHED.

The three year old AgentArts develops entertainment profiling services to help users browse and purchase multimedia content over the Internet.

The funding will help AgentArts launch its first B2B product offering, AgentMusic, here and in the US.

The product is a personal recommendation solution for navigating music and music-related content based on user preferences. The service can be accessed via the Web and WAP-enabled mobile phones.

AgentArts has development relationships with Ericcson Australia, and Sanity, and is planning to go live with a range of Australian syndication partnerships this month, a company statement said.
