Wood leaves Firmware for A/NZ role at Allaire

Chris Wood has quit Internet software distributor Firmware Design to take up the job of alliance manager for Australia and New Zealand at Internet business solutions company Allaire. In his new role Woods will be responsible for identifying and recruiting companies to the Allaire global alliance scheme. A spokesman said his role will include developing, marketing and growing Allaire's software business within the operations of each global partner, working with distributors to support sales, managing relationships between Alliare field staff and the partners, and developing co-operative marketing programs.

Wood gained a thorough knowledge of Allaire's products while working at Firmware Design, which is a master distributor for Allaire and Macromedia, the spokesman added.

Before joining Firmware Wood was an account manager for Applied Multimedia, which specialises in computer-based training, multimedia projects, Web site development, graphic design and related software products.
