Melbourne IT goes polyglot

Melbourne IT has announced it will start registrations for domain names in Western European, Central European and Latin American languages. The service, which is being offered through its Internet Names World Wide division, will begin on 26 February 2001. This brings the total number of languages being offered by the domain name supplier to 28. The company announced in November last year the registering of multilingual domain names in Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters.
