Cyrusoft International Inc., the developer of e-mail software, will release a Unix-based version of its Mulberry desktop e-mail client on Feb. 2. The client supports the standard Internet Message Access Protocol and Post Office Protocol. The software also supports Secure Sockets Layer encryption. Versions of Unix currently supported include Red Hat Inc. Linux Versions 5 and later, Linux PPC 2000, and Solaris 8 and later (X86 and Sparc). Other Unix versions will be released in stages during 2001. The software is priced at US$39.95 with the security option. Without the option, the price is $35.95.
