Extreme Networks sponsors the Special Olympics’ World Winter Games with versatile network

<p>SYDNEY, Feb 10, 2009 -- Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced that it is assisting with the connectivity and high performance network for the Special Olympics’ World Winter Games, taking place in Idaho, from Feb. 7-13th. The World Winter Games feature competitive events, ranging from cross-country skiing to snowboarding. To support the event, Extreme Networks is providing a converged Ethernet network across three different cities, including Ketchum/Sun Valley, McCall and Boise.</p>
