IT services provider Accenture and Tibco Sofware have formed a global alliance to offer services and software to users that need help integrating disparate enterprise applications, the companies announced Monday.
The alliance's first offering includes Accenture services and Tibco software and targets users wanting to integrate Oracle's Oracle 11i enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications with non-Oracle ERP applications, including those from SAP AG, PeopleSoft Inc. and Siebel Systems Inc.
This first offering from Tibco and Accenture will feature Tibco's ActiveEnterprise suite of integration tools, the companies said.
Palo Alto, California, Tibco makes products for integrating software, applications and systems from different vendors.
In addition to Tibco, Accenture, based in New York, has enterprise-software integration alliances with several other vendors, including IBM Corp., Microsoft Corp. and BEA Systems Inc.
