Telstra is integrating its wholly owned, managed services subsidiary, Telstra Enterprise Services into the telco's main corporate structure.
Telstra Enterprise Services offers computer and communications network management and hosting for some of Australia's largest businesses and government departments.
Formally called Advantra, the integration follows Telstra buying out partners IBM and Lend Lease to take 100 per cent ownership in February 2000.
Telstra Enterprise Services offers computer and communications network management and hosting and Telstra Enterprise Services executive director Barry Grinsdale said the integration would deliver significant benefits to the organisation.
"The synergies created by the integration and the reduction in duplication between the two companies will also create cost and performance efficiencies," he said.
Grinsdale said the new structure would create a "one stop shop" offering all the benefits of an integrated supplier for customers. It will be completed by the end of the year.
