ETT hopeful it can resolve dispute with IPStar out of court

The company has been in discussions with IPStar's parent company, which will continue from July 17.

Following discussions with Thaicom, the owners of IPStar Australia, the board of ETT Limited [ASX: ETT] is confident the companies' legal dispute could be settled out of court.

Further discussions are to take place in Thailand from July 17, but the ETT board is hopeful the discussions will resolve the contract dispute, and prevent the need for the arbitration hearing currently scheduled for early August.

The dispute began in May, when IPStar prematurely terminated a supply contract both parties had agreed to.

ETT appealed to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and was granted an injunction on the contract termination.
