PeopleSoft will sell Vigilance's supply chain event management product with its SCM (supply chain management) applications, PeopleSoft of Pleasanton, California, said Tuesday.
Supply chain event management can alert employees and suppliers to supply chain disruptions such as a production halt or an inventory level dip, and help them identify a new source for materials, according to PeopleSoft.
Details of pricing and availability were not available. Financial details on the sales and marketing partnership between PeopleSoft and Vigilance of Sunnyvale, California, were not provided.
Also on Tuesday, PeopleSoft announced the availability of PeopleSoft eSettlements, an application for electronic invoice presentation and payment for enterprises. Users can receive invoices electronically, send alerts and notifications, and resolve disputes online, PeopleSoft said. eSettlements is part of PeopleSoft's Financial Management portfolio and is available worldwide. Pricing information was not available.
