Australia: 12 May 2008 - TechnologyOne Ltd (ASX:TNE) a leading Australian provider of enterprise software solutions, announced today that it has continued to experience strong growth in software licences with the winning of new contracts in the federal government, local government and commercial sector.

The company said its licence fee revenue has increased by 21%, up to $12.1 million, for the six months to 31 March 2008, compared with the same period last year.

Some of the new customers include the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Tourism, the Australian Sports Commission, the Department of Climate Change, City of Fremantle, City of Ryde, WIN Television, New Zealand Buses and the Royal Liverpool Children’s Hospital Trust (UK).

Executive Chairman of TechnologyOne, Mr Adrian Di Marco, attributed the company’s continued strong sales growth to the appeal of the company’s new Connected Intelligence platform which he said has been embraced by the market.

“Our developers have built a system with unparalleled functionality, which is easy to use, integrates seamlessly and is driving exciting changes throughout our customer organisations.”

“The feedback we’re getting is quite euphoric, customers have told us this is the best software they have seen in their careers.”

TechnologyOne already services over 40 Federal and State Government Departments throughout Australia and continues to win new contracts in the sector with its high quality products which stand alone as best in their class, and more importantly, integrate seamlessly to provide an enterprise wide solution.

The contract with WIN TV furthers the company’s success in the media space, where
TechnologyOne has successfully provided software to Channel 7, Channel 9, and NITV.

Mr Di Marco said that the contract with the Royal Liverpool Children’s Hospital Trust has given the company a critical foothold in the health sector in the United Kingdom.

“We’ve had wins in the UK education sector and emergency services space, and now a number of other health organisations in the UK are considering TechnologyOne solutions because of the confidence shown in us by the RLCH.”

The newly established Department of Climate Change is the key Commonwealth agency responsible for greenhouse matters including coordination of domestic climate change policy. The department has purchased TechnologyOne Financials, Works & Assets, Grants Management, Supply Chain and Human Resource & Payroll.

The National Capital Authority administers and reviews the National Capital Plan, recommending and carrying out works that maintain or enhance the character of the National Capital. The authority has purchased TechnologyOne Financials, Works & Assets and Supply Chain. The new Works & Assets solution provided by TechnologyOne will enable the authority to better manage the monuments and the other sites it maintains throughout the capital.

City of Ryde and City of Fremantle join more than 220 councils across Australia and New Zealand using TechnologyOne solutions.

The City of Fremantle has purchased TechnologyOne Financials, Supply Chain, Works & Assets, Property & Rating and Human Resource & Payroll. The Council was particularly impressed with TechnologyOne’s XLOne reporting capabilities, its Connected Intelligence platform which enables users to access all functions from a single workplace and the flexibility of the solutions for future changes and growth.

TechnologyOne’s recent acquisition of Avand Pty Ltd was also a factor in the council’s decision, as the company’s enterprise suite now includes the DataWorks Enterprise Content Management solution.

The contract win with City of Ryde is significant because the council had been a Civica site, previously a major supplier of software in the local government market. As part of its contract with the City of Ryde, TechnologyOne will provide its Financials, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Works & Assets and Property & Rating solutions to the council, along with implementation and project management services.

TechnologyOne has been partnering with businesses to enhance operational efficiency for more than 20 years. The company is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Malaysia.
