Logica, the European IT and business services company, has appointed Craig Boundy into the position of Chief Executive Global Operations. Based in London, Boundy will also join Logica’s Executive Committee.

Boundy will be responsible for the management of Logica’s blended delivery programme, consolidating tools and processes across the business and managing the company’s offshore centres, currently based in India, the Philippines and Morocco. He will report to Logica’s CEO, Andy Green.

Previously COO of Cable and Wireless’ business in Europe, US and Asia, Boundy managed all operations, including customer services, IT and Engineering.
Andy Green, CEO Logica, commented: “I am delighted that Craig chose to join us here at Logica. I have been consistently impressed with his strengths and experience in operations and managing change. He will be a real asset as we embark on the next stage of our development.

“To develop a more competitive cost structure we need to rationalise our processes and systems and build on our global delivery capability. Craig’s experience in business transformation will help drive this change programme.”

Craig Boundy, Chief Executive Global Operations, responded: “I am very excited to be joining Logica as part of the executive team that is going to lead the rejuvenation of the company. This is a business with a fantastic heritage and great potential. At Cable and Wireless I created a programme of fundamental business transformation that delivered a market leading customer service proposition, as well as managing the global operations across Europe, US, South East Asia and India. My experience is particularly well suited to the challenges that Logica faces and I’m very excited to be joining at such a critical time.”

Prior to working at Cable and Wireless, Craig was COO at Energis and Vice President at BT Ignite.
