Jackson leaves Enterasys to join EMC

After just three weeks working with networking company Enterasys Networks IT veteran Gary Jackson has quit.

Jackson has since taken up a position with storage company EMC, and was appointed as Asia-Pacific vice president at EMC, late last week.

Jackson's brief stint as president of enterprise networking solutions provider, Enterasys Networks Asia Pacific, followed his resignation as vice president of Cisco's Asia operations. Jackson is also a former managing director of Cisco Australia and New Zealand.

Before joining Cisco, Jackson was MD of Sybase and in 1987 the managing director for Microsoft Australia.
