Logica unifies brands under a single name

Creates new outsourcing division

LogicaCMG group is unifying all its existing brands under one new name - Logica - effective immediately.

The LogicaCMG brand, along with the brands of Edinfor, Unilog and WM-data, will transition to the new global brand name.

Logica CEO, Andy Green, said the goal is to combine local services with the expertise of a 39,000 strong global organisation.

"The enlarged group draws on the strength of the local businesses, enhancing its ability to cross-sell propositions and capabilities," he said.

The company is focused on creating an integrated IT services company with a strong international network.

To support this, the company has created a new outsourcing services division.

Green said this division will take end-to-end responsibility for outsourcing services, ensuring that customers have access to the most efficient and cost-effective blend of onshore, nearshore and offshore support.

He said the division will incorporate around 9,000 Logica employees working today in centres across the globe.

In Australia, Logica employs 850 staff.
