International security exam scheduled in Qld

The internationally recognised Certification for Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) exam will be held in Australia for the first time in March 2002.

The Queensland chapter of international nonprofit organisation, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), has arranged the examination.

It will be held in Brisbane on Saturday March 23, 2002.

The CISSP is an information security certification created by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), which is a group of recognised bodies including the ISSA and Computer Security Institute (CSI).

CISSP Certification confirms a working knowledge of information security and offers opportunities for peer networking.
