Many of you are pursuing certification to advance your career but don't have a lot of money to invest in training and study materials. Here's a resource that might interest you - free videos from CBT Nuggets.

CBT Nuggets makes IT training videos for a variety of certifications, including CompTIA A+, Network+ and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). As the product name suggests, the videos each target a specific technical concept for people with all levels of expertise. The CDs deliver live video and audio and run about 30 minutes.

Hoping you'll like the videos enough to purchase the complete package, CBT offers several full-length videos for free from its Web site at You can test drive streaming video that use a whiteboard to explain the following topics:

* Windows 2000 MCSE Series: Introduction to Active Directory, Introduction to Group Policy, Configuring NAT with Windows 2000, IP Addressing, and Installing Windows 2000 Server.

* Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): Visual Basic Basics and Introduction to Data Access.

* CompTIA A+ and Network+: Printers, Electricity, Multimedia, Network Media and Networking with Unix and Linux.
