Sydney-based IT outsourcing provider, the Missing Link, is set to open an IBM innovation centre with a focus on business systems management on November 20, 2007.
The Solutions Centre - as it will be known - will be located on Sydney's north shore and will focus on Tivoli software, storage management and performance automation.
The rapid growth of information is driving rising demand for more effective storage management, according to IDC which has predicted a 9.5 per cent compound annual growth rate in the global software storage management market from 2006 to 2010.
In Australia, the growth rate will be 9.6 per cent in the same period.
The Solutions Centre is intended to help customers analyse their storage resources and help ensure that their storage requirements are optimised through the information lifecycle.
