NetComm has formed a strategic partnership with Votech Industries to rollout in-room Internet services to properties from Dreamtime Resorts.
The managing director of Dreamtime, Garry McKenzie, said the property group was seeking a provider that could deliver service guarantees and provide a solution that can be replicated across multiple sites.
"Votech brought us a solution from NetComm which allowed us to leverage our existing telecommunications infrastructure including the cabling that we already had for running our phone systems," McKenzie said.
"This meant there was no new cabling and minimal disruption to our guests during the installation period."
The Votech includes NetComm hardware with ADSL and Internet access into hotel rooms using existing wiring and the ability to bill the guests for Internet usage.
A total of 20 properties are covered in the deal.
