Melbourne-based superannuation fund, Health Super, has extended its outsourcing arrangement with Bravura Solutions by inking a three year deal announced yesterday.
Bravura announced an extension of its contract with Health Super to supply a combined superannuation and fund management administration solution.
The three year deal includes continued delivery of SuperB and Calibre applications and the introduction of SQL Data Replicator, which significantly enhances the value of data stored in an administration system.
It also minimises total cost of ownership by maximising manageability, flexibility, resource utilisation and efficiency.
The enhancements to Health Super's IT environment will improve the quality of service and system availability, provide new options for building scalable systems, and allow integration and automation of complex data dependencies.
Health Super CEO Chris Clausen, said the contract extension with includes a new focus on improving scalability and process efficiency.
Clausen said Bravura has a clear understanding of our objectives and has the capability and experience to deliver against our organisational goals.
"The platforms' enhanced functionality will enable us to create individualised product offerings and deliver a higher level of service to members," he said.
Bravura has provided systems support, service delivery and strategic consulting to Health Super since 2001.
Bravura COO, Jason Tong, said the software agreement will enable Health Super to manage its members' interests under an integrated and cohesive administration system.
Furthermore, the SuperB and Calibre applications can be scaled and configured to meet changing organisational priorities without compromising business continuity.
Bravura's SuperB application is Australia's most installed superannuation and pension administration solution, with over 4 million members under administration.
Bravura provides professional services and wealth management applications to more than 175 financial institutions.
The organizations has more than 18 million pension, life insurance and investment accounts are administered on Bravura software, with more than A$850 billion under management.
Health Super has over 200,000 members, 1800 employers and $7.5 billion in assets under management.
