Expand Networks sets up regional HQ in Sydney

Steve O'Brien appointed regional VP

Application and WAN acceleration provider, Expand Networks, has established its APAC headquarters in Sydney and appointed Steve O'Brien as the regional vice president.

O'Brien has 15 years experience in IT infrastructure services and implementing global sales operations across the Asia Pacific region.

He began his career as an engineer and has held management roles with the UK Civil Aviation Authority as well as working as a change management consultant before joining NCR.

Expand Networks was founded in 1998 and has more than 1450 customers and over 29,500 units installed.

The company's new Australian office will be the APAC headquarters managing presales, sales, marketing and technical support for the region.

Customers include American Express, Bacardi USA, BMW, Colgate and Target.
