Home grown technology provider TechnologyOne has opened a new office in Darwin as part of its expansion plans in the Northern Territory.
The company already has an established client base in the territory including Darwin Airport, Darwin Ports Corporation and Sky City but plans to target education, healthcare, local government and utilities.
TechnologyOne executive chairman, Adrian Di Marco, said the office will enable the company to pursue new business, especially in the government sector as it responds to increasing legislative, reporting and service delivery requirements.
Di Marco said the company will leverage its government experience with existing federal government clients such as the House of Representatives and the Office of the Prime Minister.
He said the company also has a strong local government base with more than 100 councils in Australia and New Zealand.
"Approximately 4.5 million rates notices are produced using TechnologyOne software, representing almost 25 percent of all Australasian ratepayers," he added.
A TechnologyOne solution showcase will be held in Darwin this August.
