Sybase appoints local regional director

Cameron Franks heads to US

Sybase 365 today announced a new A/NZ regional director to lead local operations from its headquarters in Sydney.

Jo Rich has been appointed to the role and is tasked with expanding the regional footprint of Sybase 365, which is a subsidiary of Sybase.

With more than 10 years experience in the local ICT sector, Rich was previously business manager with the portfolios of news and content portals

Rich holds a degree in Communications from the University of Technology, and is an active member of several industry associations including: the Australian Direct Marketing Association's (ADMA) Mobile Marketing Council; the Mobile Premium Services Industry (MPSI) Scheme Management Group, and the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) Mobile Content Industry Development Group (MCIDG).

Rich succeeds Cameron Franks in the regional director role, who takes up a position at the global headquarters of parent company, Sybase, in Dublin, California.

Sybase 365 is a new subsidiary of Sybase, following the acquisition of Mobile 365.

The mobile content provider processes more than six billion messages per month, and reaches more than 700 mobile operators around the world.
