Onyx, STT Offer CRM-on-Demand in Asia

SINGAPORE (04/27/2000) - Onyx Software Corp. and STT.com, a subsidiary of the Singapore Technologies group, have launched a hosted CRM (customer relationship management) and electronic business service, the companies said yesterday. This is the first Internet-based relationship management service in Asia, the companies said in a statement.

CRM-on-Demand will be provided by STT.com through its regional network of Web Centres, beginning in May. The service will start in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand and will include hardware, software and other IT resources.

CRM-on-Demand will also be extended to Malaysia, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Brunei by the end of this year, the companies said.

STT.com and Onyx will collaborate with other system integrators, ASPs (application service providers), and consulting firms in Asia, the companies said.

Customers will pay a monthly per-user license fee of between US$200 and $300, depending on the level of functionality they choose. Available modules include sales, marketing and customer support, according to STT general manager and vice president Tay Kiong Hong.

STT will be investing $5 million over the next two years to roll out CRM-on-Demand in Asia, the companies said. The companies expect 5,000 users across Asia to sign up for CRM-on-Demand by year-end.
