Former Oracle executive, Patricia Nance, has been appointed to the role of Asia Pacific managing director at The Distillery.
Nance said she was drawn to the company's "unique and highly sought after set of solutions for the local and global market" .
"It was a compelling factor in my decision to join an innovative Australian-based application provider," she said.
Nance was previously Oracle Corporation's general manager of funded agency business for the Asia Pacific.
In this role she created a unit responsible for the development of new business opportunities and management of projects funded through international development organisations like the World Bank, and the Asia Development Bank.
She had also been Oracle's general manger in the ASEAN region responsible for government, education and healthcare projects, leading sales teams working in 16 countries across South-East Asia.
Her 20 year history includes stints at Digital Equipment Corporation, BT/Syntegra and Unisys Australia.
Nance replaces David Oates who has become the company's UK based chief executive.
