IDC Asia Pacific has appointed Graeme Muller as the company's managing director for IDC Pacific, which includes Australia and New Zealand.
Formerly the country manager for New Zealand, Muller will be taking over from Chris Fell, who recently resigned from his role to "pursue other career opportunities", according to the company.
IDC's Asia Pacific managing director Eva Au said she is very confident Muller will serve well in his role as he has broad experience working across the Asia Pacific geography in research encompassing services, telecommunications and hardware markets.
Muller has been with IDC Asia Pacific for almost four years.
"In my expanded role as managing director IDC Pacific, I look forward to continuing to build upon IDC's local research, consulting, benchmarking and go to market services business," Muller said.
Muller was recently appointed the chair of IDC Asia Pacific's Emerging Asia Council guiding the company in fast growing markets, including Indonesia, Vietnam and Pakistan.
Before joining IDC, Muller was a product and marketing director at Lion Nathan. Prior to Lion Nathan, Muller completed his MBA at City University in London majoring in Strategy.
