Objective inks contract with Western Australian Department of Planning and Infrastructure

<p>Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL), a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, today announced that the Western Australia Department for Planning and Infrastructure (DPI) has selected Objective to provide an enterprise-wide ECM solution to be used by more than 1700 people.</p>
<p>It is the first new business to be awarded under the recently established preferred supplier panel for Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) across Western Australian government (Common Use Arrangement 8005).</p>
<p>The contract extends for period of 7 years and represents a minimum value of approximately AUD $3.6 million.</p>
<p>The Department for Planning and Infrastructure is responsible for a diverse range of services to the Western Australian community, city and regional planning, State land services, marine safety and information,, licensing services and taxi regulation.</p>
<p>Objective will be the single information repository that underpins the Department’s information and business processes. It will be deployed across the widely dispersed agency and used by more than 1700 staff across five Metropolitan Offices, eleven Regional Offices and fourteen Licensing Centres throughout the State.</p>
<p>DPI sought a solution that would deliver a number of outcomes:
• Manage growth in information and information types
• Enhance the sharing and exchange of knowledge
• Improve e-Government capability
• Ensure the integrity of information
• Increase auditability and transparency</p>
