Network infrastructure provider, ADC Krone, has won a deal to supply cabling to South Australian building company, Bianco Building Supplies.
The solution will support the company's new headquarters due for completion in mid-2007.
The 35-acre site is a 'greenfield' installation, allowing Bianco to install a state-of-the-art structured cabling system.
Bianco will install a one Gigabit network based on Krone's TrueNet structured cabling solution, HighBand 25 cross connect solution and high speed category 6 cabling to improve the company's communications network.
HighBand 25 allows for maximum throughput beyond one Gigabit and its Patch-by-Exception functionality simplifies network management.
ADC Krone's corporate accounts manager, Jon Vause, said the goal is to futureproof the network.
"Also Bianco will be able to completely document the network which will make management easier and enable significant cost savings," Vause said.
Bianco's IT manager, Tony Marucci, said the company went for a neat and easy to manage cabling solution.
