<p>The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) (www.mmaglobal.com) today announced that Legion Interactive received an award for the Best Use of Mobile Marketing, Promotion. The award was presented last night during the MMA’s 2nd Annual Mobile Marketing Awards dinner, which recognises agencies, brands, carriers, individuals and others that are driving development of the mobile channel.</p>
<p>“Legion Interactive Zodiac Clean Up &amp; Win campaign is an example of how a mobile promotion can be used to generate sales, drive consumer response and build brand awareness,” said Laura Marriott, executive director of the MMA. “Mobile is an effective channel to reach all consumers, regardless of goods being marketed. Legion Interactive wowed the judges with their creativity in the Zodiac campaign.”</p>

<p>This year’s MMA 2nd Annual Mobile Marketing Awards program demonstrated marquee achievements made within the last year. Judges, representing brands, carriers, press, analysts and agencies, were faced with a difficult task of reviewing numerous entries across five categories. Milestones achieved under the MMA umbrella in 2006 included unification on the Consumer Best Practices and Ad Guidelines, global campaign implementations and significant validation of the mobile channel for marketing purposes</p>
