Queensland based software provider Mincom today announced its business-to-business (B2B) division, Mincom Axis, has signed contracts worth more than $6 million in the last six months.
Contracts were signed across a broad range of industries including mining, steel, retail and hardware.
Mincom executive vice president Peter Suchting attributed the exceptional growth to the B2B integration market receiving more traction as large enterprises continue to drive down costs by focusing on improving internal efficiencies.
"We have expanded our Mincom Axis offering in the last nine months and now offer a single platform integration solution to our customers to improve communication with their trading partners," he said.
"While B2B integration has rapidly become part of the business framework, the challenge for many organizations lies in developing and sustaining the underlying infrastructure.
"In Australia and New Zealand for example, businesses increasingly want to conduct transactions electronically. Growth areas are mining and utilities."
New contracts were signed with Tarong Energy, Smorgon Steel, Crane Distribution New Zealand, Xstrata and Inco Indonesia.
Contracts were extended and renewed for the Australian Defence Force, Phelps Dodge and Rail Corp NSW.
Mincom Axis is a B2B integration solution delivered as a hosted service.
