Private health insurer MBF has rolled out a Web-based salary review package, dumping the spreadsheets previously used to complete annual task for some 1400 staff.
The new software package, R.Review was developed by Remesys and went live in July this year. It was used in phase one of MBF's internal performance and salary review in September.
The health insurer's contract with Remesys covers an operational licence for three years for nearly 100 users, with options to extend.
The software deployment involved two months of testing and customization, following the contract's signing in May. James Williams, MBF group executive of corporate relations and culture, said the company was specifically sourcing a tool to handle the remuneration process that managers and the human resources team would find easy to use.
"R.Review has been a useful addition to our HR systems, allowing us to track progress throughout the review," Williams said.
"Our managers found this year's review process easier than before, and it has allowed our HR team to focus on getting the right outcomes, rather than on managing the process.
"We have also been able to easily accommodate changes in our organization, which is very important for a growing organization such as MBF."
Natalie Feller, director of Remesys, said the software is being used primarily to administer payroll, to provide better employee self-service, complete performance reviews and follow through on salary packages.
