The former director of Hewlett Packard's South Pacific software division, Dr Ali Al-Tarafi, has been appointed managing director of BEA Australia and New Zealand.
Announcing the appointment today, BEA Systems Asia Pacific VP and general manager, Steve Au Yeung, said Al-Tarafi has more than 27 years experience in the IT industry.
"Ali brings with him a wealth of experience in leadership roles and a deep understanding of the software market," he said.
