BRISBANE, August 15. For the second time in three months, Brisbane-based human resources management solutions (HRMS) software company Aurion Corporation has strengthened its team to accommodate accelerating growth.

Fabian Vleer takes on the new role of Business Development Manager, based in Sydney. He has a strong background in selling software development services for Tier 1 products (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) to the corporate sector.

Clare Moran and Kay Xaysavanh will become Sydney-based product consultants in early September. Both are former human resources practitioners who sought to move into consulting.

A former Aurion software user, Kimberly Cignoli, starts as product consultant in Brisbane, again in early September.

Len Coonan joins Aurion as a software engineer in mid August. He has extensive Web and Uniface development experience. Professional Services Manager Adrian Gosbell, who joined Aurion only recently, is organising a ‘boot camp’ for the new consultants.

The five newcomers follow seven new appointments in April, when Aurion opened a new Melbourne office, as the company continues to strengthen its focus on customer services. The new staff take Aurion’s headcount to 41, doubling the head-count within six months.

National Sales Manager Paul MacRae said: "New workplace legislation has stimulated interest in HRMS technology, especially in solutions that are locally developed and supported. While Aurion’s ‘Made in Australia’ tag first captures customers’ interest, local market know-how and strong customer support ensure that our solutions operate at peak effectiveness. We are better equipped to service Australian customers that some of the large inflexible international vendors.”
