PeopleSoft Delivers More with Next Major CRM Release

<p>SYDNEY – June 24, 2004 -- Coined the most significant Customer Relationship Management (CRM) release in the company’s history, PeopleSoft today announced general availability of PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM 8.9. The new release offers 15 new products, three new industry solutions, more than 700 new features, and focuses not only on delivering new and enhanced functionality, but also on usability and integration.</p>
<p>“Better tools means happier sales, marketing and service agents. Happier sales people, marketeers and service agents means happier customers, and happier customers means less churn, more loyalty, and ultimately more profitable customers,” said Ray Kloss, Director Product and Industry Marketing PeopleSoft, Japan and Asia Pacific.</p>
<p>Core elements of the new release include: Prescriptive Analytics; HelpDesk for HR; Helpdesk for IT; Sales; Marketing; Service; Customer Portfolio Management; Partner Relationship Management and new industry solutions for Revenue Management, Student Lifecycle Marketing and Wealth Management.</p>

<p>Prescriptive Analytics:
Moving analytics from predicting customer behaviour and outcomes, to prescribing and performing the needed course of action.</p>

Applies CRM expertise to the HR function, including out-of-the-box integration to an HR system, providing a 360-Degree View of an employee.</p>
<p>HelpDesk for IT:
Automates the support of IT systems and assets.</p>
<p>Customer Portfolio Management:
Companies can now determine the value of each customer, segment customers based on that value, and create plans to reach each segment.</p>
<p>Partner Relationship Management:
New, fully integrated suite of operational and transactional applications to better manage partner relationships, including planning partner programs, setting and tracking objectives and managing performance.</p>

Sales automation including significant usability enhancements, new Strategic Account Planning module, Service management and enhanced integration.</p>
