NewSat and EcoUtilities tie up for Environmental, Aid and Development Projects in the Middle East and Africa

Multiemedia’s (ASX:MUL) satellite communications division NewSat Networks today announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with EcoUtilities who provide transportable, environmentally sustainable waste and water management solutions for the delivery of leading edge solutions to environmental, aid and development projects.
Under the arrangement, NewSat Networks is the communications provider of choice for EcoUtilities’ innovative environmental management solutions.</p>
<p>General Manager for NewSat Middle East and Africa, Mr Paul Seaton stated that, “NewSat's role will be to provide the last mile of communication for EcoUtilities waste and water management systems as they are deployed in the Middle East and African region. Project managers will have real time access to critical data such as available water supply and other products from EcoUtilities systems.”</p>
<p>NewSat's reliability, high quality and efficient services have helped it become one of the world's fastest growing satellite communications service providers.</p>
<p>EcoUtilities Managing Director, Mr Warren stated that the Middle East and African region is now embracing environmental utilities and environmental infrastructure and that there was an enormous amount of work that can be done to assist many places that are in need of both water and waste management.</p>
<p>Communities, government and developers are all embracing these concepts as they search for solutions, some of which even include renewable energies and commercially viable outcomes for Sustainable Urban Developments (SUD) which can in some cases provide on going revenue streams from projects.</p>
