“The need to drive and control the software quality process has never been higher, given global competitive pressures, complex sourcing and emerging technologies (such as SOA), regulatory compliance and the inherent business risks and dependencies associated with mission-critical applications,” said Melinda Ballou, program director for Application Life Cycle Management at IDC, a global advisory services and market intelligence provider. “We see companies investing in quality platforms that help ensure their mission-critical applications deliver the right business results and improve overall quality management in these challenging environments.”
“Organizations are standardizing on Mercury Quality Center for strategic quality initiatives to optimize the application delivery process and ensure application quality and performance,” said Rajesh Radhakrishnan, vice president of application delivery products at Mercury. “The new version of Mercury Quality Center will help customers mitigate the time, costs and risks inherent in deploying increasingly complex technologies and managing globally distributed testing organizations.”
