Beethoven partners with Microsoft

Sydney, Australia (February 27, 2005) – Australian developer, Beethoven Computer Services, has attained global Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/Software Solutions Competency from Microsoft for its unique customer management software, Resolve.

This qualification expands on the Microsoft Certified Partnership status Beethoven has held since 2000 and gives the company access to a number of Microsoft resources across the world to help Beethoven better service its customers, improve products and increase revenue.

The stringent certification process meant the Resolve software had to satisfy competency requirements through an accredited testing company in the United States, and Beethoven had to accumulate sufficient qualification points to be recognised as an ISV Partner.

The Microsoft ISV/Software Solutions Competency is designed to provide additional benefits and support to Microsoft Gold Certified and Certified Partners specialising in developing and marketing packaged software solutions based on Microsoft technologies. Certified Partners demonstrate a high degree of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies and, through their association with Microsoft, can provide reassurance to prospective customers as to the quality of their products.

Built on Microsoft’s .NET platform, the Resolve suite of products consists of highly customisable business systems with a range of applications in the customer care sector.

“Working with an experienced partner such as Microsoft ensures our products maintain relevance with our customers,” said Ross Allardyce, CEO, Beethoven Computer Services. “As an ISV vendor, we will continue to work closely with Microsoft to further develop Resolve in line with the needs of our clients.”

“Our partnership with Microsoft will help us deal with the ever-changing customer and technology demands we face, ensuring we maintain the level of support our clients have come to expect of us,” Mr Allardyce said.

“We place high value on partners like Beethoven who help us deliver solutions and applications to customers,” said Kerstin Baxter, Partner Group Director, Microsoft Australia.

“Customers are looking for trusted advisors to assist them to bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. Microsoft Certified Partners who achieve a Microsoft Solutions Competency are in a better position to build this trust and deliver the best possible customer experience with our technologies,” said Ms Baxter.
