Want to find out about studying IT – why not Ask.IT?

 • 15 November, 2005 15:36

The Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Technology, Sydney today launched Ask.IT, a chat forum to help this year's HSC students come to grips with the ins and outs of deciding on an undergraduate IT course.

Now that the exams are over students can refocus their thinking on their futures and course choices for 2006. Selecting a course to study at university is a big decision, especially with the confusing array of courses on offer.

On Ask.IT staff and current students of the UTS Faculty of IT will be available to answer questions on anything from course options and entry requirements to alternative pathways, scholarships, housing, careers in IT and what uni life is all about.

Students can visit Ask.IT at http://ask.it.uts.edu.au up until 22 December. There's no need to register and the service is free.

Ends...
